The Sunbeam 39 is considered a very comfortable, seaworthy cruising yacht capable of fast passage making. The construction techniques combined with traditional craftsmanship are hallmarks of the Sunbeam 39. She is designed to give years of safe, trouble free cruising with excellent sailing characteristics. Below deck is a tremendous amount of space and the finish of woodwork on board is of extraordinary quality. All deck equipment is of the best quality, Harken & Lewmar, electric winshes and a well planned centre cockpit with winches and engine controls at the wheel for short-handed sailing and cockpit screen protecting both crew and companionway. Large deck hatches in the 3 main cabins with a collision bulkhead forward add to the already high standard of safety features aboard while enhancing the value of the yacht in years to come. The teakdeck has been completely renovated and completely new caulked with SIS 440 in 1916/17. Her auxiliary power is a 56-HP Yanmar with 1’850 hours. Windgenerator form Superwind (12V/350W) and 75 Wp Solarpanel with Solarcharger from Morningstar and additional generator from Mastervolt on the Engine charge the 4 AGM board batteries with 120 Ah each (total 480 AH) and the engine battery.


Additional Description:
Teakdeck, secured bow pulpit with strong sails, 6 stable stainless steel double lifeline gates, two handrails up the forepeak, 2 spring cleats, 4 large fore and aft cleats, divided stainless steel pulpit, pushpit and folding bathing ladder. Fitted with a modern, 7/8 rigged tripple spreader outrigger with upper shrouds and lower shrouds. Integrated provision for 2 reefs, transom edge positionined traveller production similar to the main dimension genoa winch, 2 Spi winshes, clearly arranged instrument board over coachroof and bow anchor peak with automatic anchor transmission and self-bailing anchor boxes. Downhauls with practical case stoppers led into the cockpit, clutches for leads on the coachroof and lighting system at and below deck, with volt- and amperemeter. All lights (position and cabin) are LED.
